Health aims to evaluate the integration of photovoltaic systems with agricultural land to improve energy production while preserving environmental quality and protecting human health. The study assesses energy performance, soil and crop responses, and potential biological impacts through field monitoring, laboratory analyses, and statistical modeling. The goal is to provide scientific evidence for sustainable agrivoltaic development.

How my position is funded
My doctoral fellowship, titled Agrivoltaics: Energy Efficiency, Environmental Safety, and Human Health, is carried out in collaboration with the company W Tech.
My motivations
I chose to pursue a PhD because I have always been deeply interested in the field of research and in understanding the mechanisms that underlie complex biological and environmental processes. During my previous academic experiences, I realized that research is not only about acquiring knowledge, but also about generating new ideas, asking meaningful questions, and contributing to scientific progress. I am particularly motivated by the opportunity to work on innovative projects, develop critical thinking skills, and face challenging problems with a rigorous and methodical approach.
A PhD represents, for me, the ideal environment to grow both professionally and personally. It allows me to refine my analytical abilities, improve my scientific writing and communication skills, and collaborate with experts from different disciplines. I appreciate the dynamic nature of academic research, where continuous learning and intellectual curiosity are essential.
After completing my degree, I would like to continue working in academia. My goal is to build a career in the academic field, contributing to research projects, publishing scientific articles, and mentoring students. I am particularly interested in being part of an environment that fosters innovation, collaboration, and the dissemination of knowledge. Ultimately, I hope to contribute to the advancement of science in a way that has a tangible impact on society.
My days as a PhD student are dynamic and organized around research goals. I dedicate time to laboratory activities, data collection, and analysis, carefully interpreting results to draw meaningful conclusions. I also read scientific literature to stay updated and work on writing or revising research papers. In addition, I attend advanced courses and occasionally support teaching activities. Regular meetings with my supervisor help me evaluate progress, receive feedback, and plan the next steps of my project.
